Unit 354 Duplicate Mentoring Program

STARTS OCTOBER 5, 2014 THROUGH SPRING 2015

This program is open to all SCG Bridge Club members. Sign up sheets will be at all duplicate games. The intent of this program is for a newer player to play with a more experienced player, who will give tips on bidding and playing and defending the hand.  The mentor will not be teaching new conventions.  A mentor has over 1,000 masterpoints. A mentee has under 200 masterpoints.  Either the mentor or mentee can request a specific partner.  The pair will play the mentee's convention card.

The mentor/mentee should play together at least once a month, at a mutually agreeable SCG duplicate game, from October 5, 2014 through Spring 2015.  The mentor/mentee should allow time before and after a game to discuss what is needed to improve the mentee's skills and to review problem hands.  The mentor's entry fee is being paid by Unit 354.
To volunteer to mentor talk to Jackie Langlois.

We have fun at our 6 Social Bridge Games that  run through the year.
Our Social Bridge games are fun with Party Bridge Games and Chicago Scoring Games.  We have a good time enjoying bridge and each other.

These games are only open to Sun City Grand residents.
